This trip follows a picturesque route running along within the heart of the Balkan Range Mountains. It takes the traveler to charming small mountain towns, renown for their splendid cultural and nature sights. Staying at comfortable family guesthouses, tasting local food and wines, studying historical landmarks and challenging ones skills at ancient craftsmanship: all these activities allow the traveler to fully capture the character of Bulgaria and at the same time relax completely from the busy modern everyday life.
   
   Day 1 Pick up from airport. After 2.30 hours drive /220km/ to the village of Bojentzi through the beautiful hills of the Balkan Range Mountains we arrive at a comfortable, ethno furnished guesthouse in Bojentzi village (near Tryavna). Relax by the fireplace and enjoy the incredible mountain views, while tasting traditional Bulgarian cheese and specially selected wines.
   Day 2 Healthy breakfast at 9.00, prepared from local farms produce. 10.00 - Visit to the Dryanovo Monastery, situated some 14km from Bojentzi – the monastery premises are well preserved and the view is breathtaking. On the way back stop in Ethnographic museum “Etara” in Gabrovo where we will have a lunch. Return to the Bojentzi house, leisure time, grill your own fresh meat and vegetables on the barbecue.
   Day
3 Breakfast at 9.00. 10.00 - Drive to the town of Triavna /10km/ - famous for it has preserved Some of the best examples of buildings from the Bulgarian Renaissance period. The seven museum collections contain unique pieces of art from the late medieval period, such as icons and woodcarvings.. Walk in Triavna and visiting the Clock tower (built in 1814), the old bridge and Saint Arhangel Michail churge. Lunch. In the afternoon visit to some of the museums. Spend the evening in Bojentzi Guesthouse.
   Day 4 Breakfast at 9.00. A day in architectural open-space museum of Bojenci. Explore the 19th-century village, preserved in its authentic outlook and atmosphere. Lunch. Leisure time. Learn how to cook a traditional Bulgarian meal at the “Bojentzi” guesthouse and practice some Bulgarian folk dancing in the evening.
   Day 5 Breakfast at 09.00. At 10.00Visit the medieval capital of Bulgaria – Veliko Turnovo /45km/ with the Tzarevetz fortress and its numerous churches. Lunch in the architectural reserve Arbanassi. Leisure time at the Samovodene Market Place with its attractive small workshops where master goldsmiths, potters, carvers, weavers and pastry cooks still pursue their crafts, and the old photo studio. Wine-tasting and dinner in Bojentzi  village. Overnight in Bojentzi.
Day 6 Breakfast at 09.00. Day in Shipka.A visit to the Replica of the famous Thracian tomb and visit to the remarkable Russian church in the Shipka village. Overnight in Shipka village
